Scandal at the University of Hamburg: Woman attacked by Somali woman during a lecture on anti-Semitism

After a lecture at the University of Hamburg on the subject of anti-Semitism and hostility towards Jews, a 56-year-old woman was attacked and beaten. The victim then defended herself, kicking and biting the attacker ( aged 26), Hamburg police said on Friday. According to the German-Israeli Society, the 56-year-old victim is one of its board members. The woman is also the wife of the lecturer. According to reports, the thug is believed to be from Somalia. The altercation occurred on Wednesday evening during a public lecture series, during which, according to police reports, there were initially repeated heckling. After the end of the event, the 56-year-old female attendee and several women from the audience got into an argument, during which the Somali woman suddenly attacked the lecturer’s wife and punched her in the face. The woman was treated medically.

The police brought criminal proceedings against both opponents on suspicion of assault. The State Security Department of the State Office of Criminal Investigation is investigating. The University of Hamburg condemned the attack. ‘We are deeply shocked and condemn this anti-Semitic act of violence utterly,’ said University President Hauke Heekeren on Thursday. ‘The incident is absolutely unacceptable and abhorrent.’ Jewish students, staff and guests must be safe at universities ‘without ifs and buts’.

‘Law and order must be enforced at universities,’ the German-Israeli Association (DIG) also demanded. According to the DIG Hamburg, the attacker presumably comes from the pro-Palestinian milieu. The ‘cowardly attack’ is part of an increasing escalation of the situation. There have also recently been pro-Palestinian actions at other universities and colleges in Germany.

Germany: Government Fails to Condemn Yet Another Assault on Right-Wing Party Members

AFD

The left-wing radical militant group Antifa has claimed responsibility for an attack in Stuttgart on two Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) lawmakers. Miguel Klauß and Hans-Jürgen Goßner, two of the party’s members of the Baden-Württemberg regional parliament, were injured on Wednesday, May 8th, while campaigning in the city centre. .

The anti-immigration politicians had set up an AfD information stand as part of a festival celebrating the 75th anniversary of Germany’s 1949 constitution. Up to half a dozen left-wing activists arrived on the scene and held up a banner right in front of AfD’s booth, blocking its view. A scuffle ensued, insults were traded, and the two lawmakers were physically assaulted—one of them suffered head injuries, the other neck injuries, but neither required medical assistance.

Antifa—notorious for using physical violence to attack and intimidate people it disagrees withproudly acknowledged that the assault had been committed by its members, calling their action a “creative disruption.”

Germany is facing a wave of attacks on politicians who are campaigning in June’s European elections, as well as three regional elections to be held in the eastern states of the country in the autumn. AfD members are the most frequently assaulted group, yet a recent attack against Social Democrat Matthias Ecke garnered the most attention from both mainstream parties and the media, who blamed AfD for “inciting hatred” and “sowing discord” in society.

Miguel Klauß criticised the media for not reporting on cases involving the AfD, or belittling such incidents by relegating stories to the regional section of news websites. “If someone from the SPD and Co. is hit with a gym bag, there are special broadcasts and press conferences,” he tweeted.

While Social Democrat (SPD) Federal Interior Minister Nancy Faeser did not denounce the attack on the AfD lawmakers, she denounced the beating of Ecke, saying “offenders who actively attack political activists must feel the full force of the law. That means swift, consistent proceedings and punishments.” Following the incident, Faeser called for a meeting with her state-level colleagues to discuss the rise of political violence across Germany.

The meeting was held on Tuesday, but did not go down well with the centre-right opposition Christian Democrats (CDU), according to a report by Die Welt. “Ms. Faeser is just making noises in public, but she doesn’t do anything to protect politicians,” a CDU interior minister told the publication, criticising their federal counterpart for doing nothing but giving her state-level colleagues half-baked advice on what they should be doing to address the problem of political violence.

The opposition party also criticised the fact that Faeser wanted to explain the conclusions of the meeting alone to the media at a press conference. The uproar forced the minister to cancel the media event and organise a new one, this time with the participation of CDU lawmakers.

The carbon capture con

By Viv Forbes

Carbon capture and underground storage (CCUS) tops the list of silly schemes “to reduce man-made global warming.”  The idea is to capture exhaust gases from power stations or cement plants, separate the CO2 from the other gases, compress it, pump it to the chosen burial site, and force it underground into permeable rock formations.  Then hope it never escapes.

An Australian mining company who should know better is hoping to appease green critics by proposing to bury the gas of life, CO2, deep in the sedimentary rocks of Australia’s Great Artesian Basin.

The people running this company have chosen the Precipice Sandstone for their carbon cemetery.  However, the chances of keeping CO2 gas confined in this porous sandstone are remote.  This formation has a large area of outcrop to the surface, and gas will escape somewhere, so why bother forcing it into a jail with no roof?

Glencore shareholders should rise in anger at this wasteful and futile pagan sacrifice to the global warming gods.  It will join fiascos like Snowy 2, pink bats, and SunCable (a dream to take solar energy generated in the Northern Territory via overhead and undersea cable for over 3,000 miles across ocean deeps and volcanic belts to Singapore).

Engineers with buckets of easy money may base a whole career on CCUS.  But only stupid green zealots would support the sacrifice of billions of investment dollars and scads of energy to bury this harmless, invisible, life-supporting gas in the hope of appeasing the high priests of global warming.

The quantities of gases that CCUS would need to handle are enormous, and the capital and operating costs will be horrendous.  It is a dreadful waste of energy and resources, consuming about twenty percent of power delivered from an otherwise efficient coal-fired power station.

For every ton of coal burnt in a power station, about 11 tons of gases are exhausted — 7.5 ton of nitrogen from the air used to burn the coal, plus 2.5 ton of CO2 and one ton of water vapor from the coal combustion process.

Normally, these beneficial atmospheric gases are released to the atmosphere after filters take out any nasties like soot and noxious fumes.

However, CCUS also requires energy to produce and fabricate steel and erect gas storages, pumps, and pipelines and to drill disposal wells.  This will chew up more coal resources and produce yet more carbon dioxide, for zero benefit.

But the real problem is at the burial site — how to create a secure space to hold the CO2.

There is no vacuum occurring naturally anywhere on Earth.  Every bit of space on Earth is occupied by something: solids, liquids, or gases.  Underground disposal of CO2 requires it to be pumped against the pressure of whatever fills the pore space of the rock formation now — either natural gases or liquids.  These pressures can be substantial, especially after more gas is pumped in.

The natural gases in sedimentary rock formations are commonly air, CO2; CH4 (methane); or, rarely, H2S (rotten egg gas).  The liquids are commonly salty water; sometimes fresh water; or, very rarely, liquid hydrocarbons.

Pumping out air is costly; pumping out natural CO2 to make room for man-made CO2 is pointless; and releasing rotten egg gas or salty water on the surface would create a real problem, unlike the imaginary threat from CO2.

In some cases, CCUS may require the removal of fresh water to make space for CO2.

Producing fresh water on the surface would be seen as a boon by most locals.  Pumping out salt water to make space to bury CO2 would create more problems than it could solve.

Naturally, some carbon dioxide buried under pressure will dissolve in groundwater and aerate it, so that the next water driller in the area could get a real bonus: bubbling Perrier water on tap, worth more than oil.

Then there is the dangerous risk of a surface outburst or leakage from a pressurized underground reservoir of CO2.  The atmosphere contains 0.04% CO2, which is beneficial for all life.  But the gas in a CCUS reservoir would contain over 90% of this heavier-than-air gas — a lethal, suffocating concentration for nearby animal life if it escaped in a gas outburst.

Pumping gases underground is sensible only if it brings real benefits, such as using waste gases to increase oil recovery from declining oil fields — frack the strata, pump in CO2, and force out oil and gas.  To find a place where you could drive out natural hydrocarbons in order to make space to bury CO2 would be like winning the lottery — a profitable but unlikely event.

Normally, however, CCUS will be futile, as the oceans will largely undo whatever man tries to do with CO2 in the atmosphere.  Oceans contain vastly more CO2 than the thin, puny atmosphere, and oceans maintain equilibrium between CO2 in the atmosphere and CO2 dissolved in the oceans.  If man releases CO2 into the atmosphere, the oceans will quickly absorb much of it.  And if by some fluke man reduced the CO2 in the atmosphere, CO2 would bubble out of the oceans to replace much of it.  Or just one decent volcanic explosion could negate the whole CCUS exercise.

Increased CO2 in the atmosphere encourages all plants to grow better and use more CO2.  Unfortunately, natural processes are continually sequestering huge tonnages of CO2 into extensive deposits of shale, coal, limestone, dolomite, and magnesite.  This process has driven atmospheric CO2 to dangerously low concentrations.  Burning hydrocarbons and making cement returns a tiny bit of this plant food from the lithosphere to the biosphere.

Regulating atmospheric carbon dioxide is best left to the oceans and plants — they have been doing it successfully for millennia.

The only certain outcome from CCUS is more expensive electricity and a waste of energy resources to do all the separation, compressing, and pumping.  Unscrupulous coal industry leaders love the idea of selling more coal to produce the same amount of electricity, and electricity generators would welcome an increased demand for power.  And green zealots in USA plan to force all coal and gas plants to bury all CO2 plant food that they generate.  Consumers and taxpayers are the suckers.

Naturally, the Greens love the idea of making coal and gas-fired electricity more expensive.  They conveniently ignore the fact that CCUS is anti-life — it steals plant food from the biosphere.

Global warming has never been a threat to life on Earth.  Ice is the killer.

Glencore directors supporting this CCUS stupidity should be condemned for destructive ignorance.

Some policemen were attacked outside Milan’s Central Station late on Thursday in the second serious assault on officers in the city in two days.
A 36-year-old Egyptian asylum seeker, reportedly under the effects of drugs, turned on the officers after being cited for throwing stones and acts of vandalism.
After unsuccessfully trying to taser the attacker, one of the officers shot him in the shoulder.
He was injured but is not in a life-threatening condition, sources said.
A 35-year-old policeman is in a critical condition in Milan’s Niguarda hospital after being stabbed by a man in the area of the city’s Lambrate station on Wednesday night.
The policeman intervened after the attacker, a 37-year-old Moroccan, started throwing stones at trains and one hit a 55-year-old woman in the head.
The cop was stabbed three times in the back and underwent emergency surgery for organ damage.
The 37-year-old was tasered and arrested.

France: Chadian teen beaten and abused by her family as punishment for dating; her boyfriend was also kidnapped and tortured by her male relatives

The mother and older brother of a 16-year-old Chadian girl living in France have been arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and torturing a 16-year-old teenager the girl had begun dating.

Reims public prosecutor François Schneider confirmed the arrests on Thursday but revealed there are at least five members of the girl’s family being investigated in relation to the incident.

On May 5, the teenage boy was reportedly lured from his home by an acquaintance before being forced into a Renault Clio and driven to an apartment on rue Alain-Polliart in the Croix-Rouge district of the city.

He was dragged down to a cellar where he was held captive and beaten severely, allegedly by his migrant girlfriend’s family.

Investigators believe the motive for the attack was revenge for entering into a relationship with the teenager.

The victim was later found walking the street where he managed to flag down a motorist who offered him assistance. He had multiple bruises on his body, several fractures to his nose, and a laceration on his right temple believed to have been a stab wound. A police source confirmed he was incapacitated for eight days, and the attack had resulted in a “very significant psychological impact” on the boy.

At a press conference on Friday, Schneider revealed further disturbing facts surrounding the case, including an allegation by the 16-year-old Chadian girl that she had been abused by her brothers and her mother who had shaved her head and spat at her after learning about the relationship.

The girl managed to escape the family residence and flee to a police station where she claimed she had been severely beaten by her family, including by her mother who had held a knife to her throat.

“Obviously, given the violence of the events as described by the two victims, it was decided to arrest the family as quickly as possible, who were obviously starting to look for her everywhere and apparently knew where she had taken refuge,” Schneider told press.

“People were arrested. It should be noted that the mother and older brother were questioned. The older brother was convicted in 2023 for serious violence to a prison sentence and was currently under an electronic tag. In his last statements, he admitted that he had discovered photos and videos on his sister’s phone implicating Karim, who was the first victim in this case, and that this had infuriated him,” he explained.

According to the authorities, the older brother admitted to beating his sister and confronting her boyfriend; however, he denies being violent towards him.

“The mother in question, after denying everything, admitted hitting her daughter after discovering her relationship with Karim, but denied biting her or spitting at her, let alone threatening her with a knife.

“However, she had witnessed the older brother’s violence towards her younger sister and, contrary to her son’s claims, she said that she had never been present when Karim was in the flat. She did, however, admit to cutting off her daughter’s hair with a pair of scissors.”

The public prosecutor confirmed the suspected offenses are punishable by up to 20 years in prison.

The investigation is ongoing.

Demography is destiny: How the most Muslim city of Sweden, that celebrated ‘all night’ after the October 7 Hamas terror attack on Israel, looks like mini Palestine

The 7th October Hamas attack on Israel, which witnessed mass rape, murder and kidnap of innocent citizens shook the entire world, however, the horrifying event was celebrated under the pretext of ‘resistance’ by extremists in different parts of the world. Likewise, Malmö, a coastal city in southern Sweden, experienced similar festivities on the fateful day, reported Ynet. With over 340,000 residents in the city and nearly double that number, if one considers its metropolitan suburbs, Malmö is the third-largest city in Sweden and is also regarded as the “most Muslim city” in the Nordic country.

40-year-old Irit Erlinski, a local kindergarten teacher, mother of three, and former Israeli, recounted, “On Saturday, even before I knew what had happened, there was already a convoy of cars beeping, and I said to myself that it was strange hearing wedding sirens so early in the morning.” It took her some time to grasp that they were celebrating the Israeli massacre.

All day long, there was a carnival with convoys of automobiles beeping excitedly, displaying flags of Palestine and Hamas, and even children dressed up as terrorists from Hamas. Erlinski noticed the difference right away in the most delicate location which is also the location of school of her kids. She added, “I went to the administrators, asking them to protect my son from the bullying he was experiencing at school, physically and verbally. I was very adamant. Two days later, people from welfare came to see why I was so nervous.” These violent celebrations and the subsequent anti-Israel protests that have been held in Malmö have involved thousands of Muslims residing in the area.

Interestingly, the seventh edition of the Eurovision Song Contest is taking place in Sweden, with the city of Malmö serving as the host for the third time. A hundred thousand guests, an endless global celebration, flags, cultures, and some sparkles to the otherwise drab and languid metropolis. For the 50th anniversary of “Waterloo” and the nation’s first victory in the competition, there were even rumours of an Abba (Famous Swedish pop supergroup) comeback. The Swedes got ready for a week filled with peculiar performances, kitsch, awful music, and an excess of alcohol to make everything seem hazy. However, the plans were destroyed by the gut-wrenching terror attack on 7th October on Israel.

Now, Abba’s return was immediately forgotten, and the Middle East reality was thrust headfirst into an event whose primary purpose was escape. Nols Noling, the communications officer for the Malmö police remarked, “The song contest has become a reality.” After 7th October, the authorities recognized how difficult it would be to conduct a Eurovision contest in the city with the highest concentration of Muslims in Sweden. The official revealed, “Our intelligence works non-stop, and especially on social networks.”

He added, “We are prepared for any scenario, be it a shooting or a bomb or kidnappings. We have the tools and the personnel to handle it. There will be thousands of police officers from all over the country to help with security. But if the intelligence and the federal police discover that there is a concrete threat – one or more people with means, intention and purpose – then we will set the highest threat level 5 which has never been applied here before and then almost everything will be cancelled.”

A member of the Israeli delegation disclosed, “Usually, going to the Eurovision Song Contest is a trip that people fight over. This time everyone is trying to avoid it. They don’t want to go to Malmö because it is a Muslim and an unpleasant city. Everyone knows that it will be a travel which involves only hotel-concert hall, concerts-hotel trips, without any free time, without a traditional Israeli party, which is the most popular party at the Eurovision every year, and it feels like a bummer; and not just for us.” Eden Golan, the Israeli competitor who dedicated her entire life to be able to participate is forced into an advocacy battleground rather than performing a song and competing.

Incidents of vandalism in Malmo

Some of Malmö’s streets, particularly in the immigrant neighbourhood Rosengård, resemble an Arab city in the Middle East and conservative estimates place the number of Muslims there at 50,000, while there are likely even more. Some also address Malmö as “Ramallalmo.” Due to all of these factors, Malmö has emerged as one of the most intense hubs of opposition to Israel in Sweden and throughout Europe. However, the Eurovision, in which Israel is competing and the conflict in Gaza are suddenly a hot topic in the streets of the city.

The enormous Eurovision sign outside the “Malmö Live” concert hall, where it is scheduled to take place, was vandalised about a month ago with the words “Free Gaza” written on it along with red paint and what appeared to be bloodstains. Pro-Palestinian demonstrations, which also have a set day and place, occurred alongside the violent Saturday gatherings here. They are appealing for Israel to be eliminated from the Eurovision Song Contest and are protesting against Israel and the dispute in general.

The agitation appeared to be led by predominantly second-generation immigrants from the Middle East, and young Swedish leftists involved in the local movement. It presented an exemplary image of how leftists and Islamists feed off each other. One of the protesters wearing a black keffiyeh, a popular pro-Palestine status symbol complained, “We want the municipality to boycott the competition, to cancel it, to move it to another city or country. I think it’s a shame that a cultural event includes a country that is currently committing genocide.”

“Stop the Genocide” is written in white on the display window of a well-known hipster clothes boutique called “Bjork & Secondhand.” Beside the mannequins in the exhibit is a monitor that mimics a scoreboard from a Eurovision contest; however, instead of listing the participating countries, it lists all the “crimes” that Israel is alleged to have committed in Gaza. There are more placards with Palestinian flags inside the store, and there are more digital monitors with similar text behind the cashiers.

Meanwhile, Theresa from the company’s headquarters argued, “We want to stop the genocide and we use the shop window to provide information about the genocide conducted in Gaza. We criticize the Israeli government and its military operations. We don’t understand what the connection is between trying to prevent genocide and the anxiety among Jews in Malmö. There are many people who are against this genocide.”

However, a barista working at the adjacent “Espresso House” unveiled, “I think it’s not cool to do something like this to a country and its representatives who will come and stay here. But I can tell you clearly that since they started the campaign, their stores are full, much more than usual.”

Journalist Sofia Narbrand (50) has been a political editor of the well-known Swedish newspaper “Svenska Dagbladet.” She actively supported the city’s declining Jewish community and has taken part in pro-Jewish protests for more than ten years. She saw through her left-wing comrades’ contradictions a long time ago. She noted, “We are supposedly guilty for everything. Everything related to the West is bad, and Jews are the West. So, the Palestinians are the victims, here (in Malmö) and there (in Gaza). They are allowed to do whatever they like, and they can be forgiven for their attitude toward women, LGBT people, human rights, and their honour culture. It’s crazy self-hatred.”

She pointed out, “I like to be naive. We wanted to help them because we didn’t help the Jews in World War II, but all the trust we had was cracked. There are now discussions here about having separate days and hours for women and men in public pools. All the procedures taking place in the Ministry of Welfare and Immigration are done without a single word in Swedish. Single mothers earn less money than immigrants who decide not to work. There are teachers here who are afraid to report child abuse because they fear the parents’ reaction. That’s insanity. We thought we would pull them to the Swedish-secular culture, but the opposite is happening.”

She further divulged, “I want to go and show support for Israel during the Eurovision Song Contest, but the fear is already in me, and it upsets me, really upsets me, because I am a Swedish citizen just like them, and I am afraid to exercise the most basic right I have, to demonstrate. I go to pro-Israel demonstrations with sneakers and a small bag in case I have to escape. And what about them? They are not afraid to get together in their thousands screaming ‘from the river to the sea.’ They don’t see themselves as Swedes. They don’t care about us. It saddens me. We gave them everything, and we didn’t ask them to be blondes, only to respect the basic laws of the country that welcomed them, rescued them from the wars and gave them everything from day one. It’s not much to ask.”

The tense situation and the antisemitic incidents

The days between the 7th and 11th May, when Malmö is hosting both the competition and the two Eurovision semi-finals, are being held in this volatile atmosphere. This year’s organizers of the Eurovision, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the Malmö municipality, and the Swedish police are working nonstop in pursuit of a safe solution. A member of the Israeli delegation observed, “Normally, two months before the competition, we already have the entire itinerary, including security arrangements. But this time, everyone is telling us that due to security matters, no information will be provided to us until the last minute.”

“There was a Zoom conversation with all the participants and the EBU thought that all the mess outside would be under the responsibility of the Swedish police. But after a few minutes of conversation, several countries, including the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Belgium, expressed grave fear for the lives and security of their delegations, and this already stirred things up, because it made it clear to the organizers that the participants were in panic. Besides, there is a huge fear of a cyber-attack that would stop the satellite broadcast or disrupt the vote and all of a sudden, the popular Eurovision slogan, ‘United by Music’ took on shades of ‘United by War’,” mentioned one person from the Israeli delegation.

Israel has already taken part in two Malmö Eurovision Song Contests. The Israeli entry “It’s Just Sport,” performed by Dafna Dekel, won the first one in 1992. The city’s characteristics were entirely different back then. Kobi Oshrat, the song’s composer, arranger, and conductor recalled, “I remember that when I was leaving for Malmö, I put on tefillin and they gave me a dollar bill to give it to someone poor, and we couldn’t find poor people in Malmö. There was no Muslim issue. The atmosphere was wonderful. Ehud Manor and I wrote a song for Dafna Dekal for her birthday called ‘Seventh of May’ and we sang it at a party for her. There were no security personnel and no instructions. We walked around freely.”

The next occasion was in 2013 when Moran Mazor sang the Israeli song “Rak Bishvilo” (just for him) and Malmö had already changed significantly. Alon Amir, then the delegation’s spokesman stated, “We were accompanied by at least five members of the Shin Bet and another 30 local policemen. We couldn’t move around freely. There were demonstrations held against us, and we always left through back entrances. Most of the delegation members were quite scared, but I attended a competition in Baku the year before, where we were guarded by dozens of Shin Bet and Mossad personnel, and they arrested about 40 terrorists who came to eliminate us, so as far as I was concerned, Malmo was considered a ‘summer camp.’ But it’s not a pleasant place. You feel like you’re in the crosshairs.”

Israel also participated in the 2009 Davis Cup, which was held in Malmö. A new chapter in the city’s relations with Jews and Israel began with this incident. The municipality decided to cancel the public match due to the possibility of disturbances. Although some questioned the competition’s sporting worth, the severity of the riots and their associated violence demonstrated that the decision was appropriate. Numerous antisemitic acts have been documented in Malmö since then, including the discovery of a can labelled “Zyklon B” outside the Jewish cemetery (Zyklon B was the poisonous pesticide used by Nazis to kill Jews in gas chambers), violent protests every time Israel and the Palestinians engaged in a military conflict and a local imam who called for the “slaughter of the Jews halal.”

This hatred even extended to the television series “The Bridge” which was filmed on the renowned Oresund Bridge which connects Malmö and Denmark. The show’s star, Kim Bodnia, left before the third season, citing discomforts she had living in the city as a Jewish person. Muslims were responsible for more than half of the events in the city that targeted Jews. According to Dr Persson, “Sweden is one of the places from which the most fighters left for ISIS but very few from Malmö. They say that Malmo is tough enough.” The approximately 3,000-person Jewish community in the area steadily declined to an estimated 500 or less now.

Peter is among the Jews who departed Malmö a few years back as a result of the drastic shift in the city’s population. He went to Sweden’s capital city of Stockholm, where he has been voting for the right-wing conservative “Sweden Democrats” in recent elections. The party is becoming more and more popular in Sweden. The “Sweden Democrats” struggled in their early years to distance themselves from their fascist and even Nazi origins (one of the party’s founders volunteered for the Waffen-SS). However, Jews like Peter also started to vote for the party when it declared a firm stance against immigration while also endorsing Israel. He claimed, “80% of Jews vote for this party.”

Dr. Persson noted that the ranking of the Israeli song will determine how strong the protests grow. “People will come here with the spirit of October 7 in mind. They don’t come here to have a quiet celebration. Now it is estimated that Israel will come in between third and tenth place, which means that they will make it to the final and that demonstrations will last longer, and they will become more violent if Israel competes for the first place.”

Demography is destiny

The situation in Sweden, especially in Malmö, as a result of the flood of Muslim immigrants serves as a sobering reminder of how demographics determine the destiny of any nation or location. It is important to remember that India has been dealing with this problem for many years. The minority Hindu population was targeted in Punjab during the Khalistan terrorism and the insurgency in Kashmir, all in the name of ‘freedom and resistance.’ The influx of Rohingya and Bangladeshi Muslim population in India has repeatedly shown itself to be a national security threat. How can anyone forget the 2012 Azad Maidan riots where even the Amar Jawan Jyoti memorial was desecrated by protestors? The agitation was initiated by Raza Academy to protest against the alleged atrocities on Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.

A group of thousands of Muslims united under the Anjuman Ahle Sunnatul Jamat (ASJ) flag went on a rampage in Malda, West Bengal in 2016 over late Kamlesh Tiwari’s “anti-Islam” remarks. More than thirty people, including police officers, were hurt in vandalism that targeted the Kaliachak Police Station, the Block Development Office and public property. Several vehicles were also set on fire.

India witnessed similar protests after Mohammed Zubair of Alt News shared an edited clip of former Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Nupur Sharma in 2022. Murderous slogans like “Gustakh-e-Rasool ki Ek hi saza, sar tan se Juda, sar tan se Juda” were heard all over India and Kanhaiya Lal in Rajasthan and Umesh Kohle in Maharashtra lost their lives merely for supporting her.

Hindus can not celebrate any festival in peace as reports of stone pelting and attacks on their religious processions are a common occurrence during these events. A startling example of the same came to the fore when on 31st July, an Islamist mob attacked the Jalabhishek Yatra procession organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal in Nuh, Haryana. The violence claimed six lives. Vehicles were burnt and stones pelted at the VHP’s Jalabhishek Yatra as extremists unleashed violence against the Hindus in the Muslim-dominated region of Nuh, Mewat in Haryana.

This year, Haldwani violence brought to light that when confronted with extremists, even performing official tasks may turn violent. The unrest transpired on the evening of 8th February after the administration took measures to remove encroachments which resulted in the loss of life and property. The rioting resulted in five fatalities and hundreds of injuries including male and female (at least 250) authorities.

The daily headlines are dominated by stories about the sexual abuse, murder and oppression of Hindu women at the hands of Muslim males in the name of love jihad or unrequited love. Neha Hiremath (24) the daughter of Congress Corporator Niranjan Hiremath, was the most recent victim of the dreaded phenomenon. She was repeatedly stabbed by Fayaz at B V Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology in Hubbali because she didn’t accept his relationship proposal. The two were studying there.

The aforementioned incidents are only the tip of the iceberg of India’s dire future brought on by its rapidly changing demographics. Demanding that Hindus vacate their land on the grounds that it is reportedly Waqf property, infringing on government territory and the illegal settlement of Muslim intruders in the nation all gravely compromise the security and stability of our country as they all are an integral component of shifting demography. Now, Europe is also enduring the same issues due to its liberal policies, vote bank politics and woke agenda as its common citizens bear the brunt.

BBC Journalists Fear Being Branded Racist for Covering Negatives of Immigration: Report

Wikimedia Commons , Alexnantais,  CC-BY-SA-4.0

A review commissioned by the BBC declared that it is “not racist to be concerned about the impacts of migration” after finding that staff within the publicly-funded broadcaster were discouraged from reporting on the negative impacts of migration for fear of being branded racist or appearing “hostile” towards migrants.

An independent review conducted by Dr Madeleine Sumption, director of the Migration Observatory at Oxford University, which spoke to over 100 BBC journalists and top management as well as reviewing over 1,500 online, radio, and television reports produced by the broadcaster, found that the coverage of migration failed to address the concerns from the public on how it impacts local communities and focussed primarily on political jockeying from Westminster politicians.

“Coverage should pay more attention to how migration affects communities, public services, housing and the labour market,” the report said according to The Telegraph. “All audiences in our research were interested in these questions, but particularly people with concerns about migration. By focusing primarily on political developments, BBC coverage can overlook some of these concerns.”

The report also found that some journalists at the BBC were wary of covering local concerns over immigration or reporting on negative stories such as immigration fraud, for fear of appearing “hostile” towards migrants or be accused of racism.

“Journalists were sometimes anxious about taking on topics they felt could appear hostile to migrants, such as immigration fraud or local concerns about migration. When these topics are covered with sufficient depth, however, it is possible to prove the issues at hand while also being respectful towards the people involved,” the report stated.

“However, some BBC journalists said that some stories felt more risky to cover, particularly if the topics could appear unsympathetic to migrants or migration. One BBC journalist also said that if it was seen as ‘not a nice story’ it was less likely to be promoted across other BBC outlets or reposted on social media.”

Another journalist at the BBC said that staff at the broadcaster want to “seem like we’re nice, caring people, and it’s easier to care for things in the context of migration … and not necessarily caring in terms of the communities in which they have an impact.”

A BBC insider also said that less experienced journalists expressed concerns over the language they used while covering immigration to avoid being “accused of racism by the Left [or] accused of being the ‘wokerati’ by the Right”.

While the review claimed that it did not find a particular left of right-wing bias in the broadcaster’s coverage of immigration, it did find that “for the most part, story selection appeared to be driven not by deliberate choices to cover or not cover certain topics, but by the culture of following the political agenda.”

Some journalists even claimed that they were told by colleagues that immigration fraud was “not a story you should be looking at.” Though they said the stories were ultimately published.

The selection bias against stories involving the negative effects of immigration was likely a result of the overwhelming liberal background of the staffing of BBC newsrooms, with the report stating: “BBC journalists and senior management told us that staff come disproportionately from groups that are more relaxed about migration.”

“Several pointed out that it would be easier for the BBC to represent different views convincingly if staff had a wider range of backgrounds and political opinions. They might also feel more confident exploring all relevant views without worrying that they are stereotyping or patronising them,” it added.

The review, therefore, urged the BBC to recognise that “it is not racist to be concerned about the impacts of migration or to prefer more restrictive policies. BBC coverage should have equal empathy for migrants and UK residents who worry about the impacts of migration.”

The management of the public broadcaster endorsed the conclusions of the report and told journalists: “It’s not biased to hear directly

Belgian State-broadcaster interrupts Eurovision show to denounce Israel

One of Belgium’s State-owned broadcasters disrupted its coverage of the annual Eurovision Song Contest semi-final on May 9 to denounce the actions of Israel.

VRT, the public service broadcaster for Flanders, interrupted its broadcast of the competition’s second semi-final to display a wall of text attacking Israel for “human rights violations”.

“This is a union action. We condemn the human rights violations by the State of Israel,” the image reportedly read.

“Furthermore, the State of Israel is destroying press freedom. This is why we are interrupting the broadcast for a moment,” it added, also including the hashtags #CeaseFireNow and #StopGenocideNow.

The incident came amid broader protests surrounding Israel’s participation in the competition.

Numerous protests are said to have taken place in the Swedish host city of Malmö – which sports a large Muslim migrant population – with some expressing fear that local anger surrounding Palestine could result in terror attacks targeting the show.

Others have taken to targeting Israel’s entry, performed by 20-year-old Eden Golan, who was subject to loud boos during her live performance on May 9.

Golan also appeared to be on the receiving end of pressure behind the scenes, with tense scenes emerging at one press conference following the Song Contest.

Asked by one reporter whether she felt her presence at the competition was endangering the safety of other performers, Golan was told by an organiser that she was not obligated to answer the question if she did not want to.

Still, Joost Klein, singer of the pro-Brussels Dutch entry Europapa, then chimed in, asking: “Why not?”.

The Israeli entry is not the only one causing controversy, with Ireland’s entry Doomsday Blue also under fire over its handling of certain religious themes.

Performed by artist Bambie Thug – a self-described “queer” and “witch” – some in Ireland have expressed anger that the traditionally Catholic country has entered a song they say is laden with pagan themes and imagery.

Despite the controversy, Bambie Thug, Golan and Klein are all among the favourites to win the competition.

Yet none of the songs are currently as popular as Croatia’s entry, Rim Tim Tagi Dim, a song about a rural man who has sold his only cow to go and live in the big city.

Does Scottish gov’t turmoil signal the end of the ‘green’ agenda’s stranglehold on Europe?

Former Scottish First Minister Humza Yousaf YouTube/Screenshot

The First Minister of Scotland, Humza Yousaf, quit on live television on April 29, following the collapse of his left/Green Party coalition government. A power sharing agreement between his bizarrely named Scottish National Party (SNP) and the Greens was broken over the SNP’s retreat on Net Zero commitments.

Despite his camera savvy assertions, Yousaf’s departure has nothing to do with either duty or principle, which he stressed in the speech announcing his resignation. It is the result of a feared public backlash against higher taxes, over-regulation, and the madness of progressive “green” policies which prefigures a European political realignment.

Yousaf’s coalition with the Greens fell apart because his SNP had recognized that the extreme Net Zero agenda was unrealistic, and could deliver only electoral suicide. The SNP under Yousaf had abandoned its “decarbonization targets” in early April, with Green co-leaders Lorna Slater and Patrick Harvie describing Yousaf’s attempts to ditch extremely unpopular policies as “an act of political cowardice” and a “betrayal.”

As a result, the Greens withdrew support from the SNP, which fell one seat short of a majority in 2021. A new deal with a new leader is unlikely, and the chaos spells doom for the SNP with an election coming this year. The SNP remains in power – for the time being – albeit in a minority government.

Wider lessons for globalist ‘greens’

The lesson from Scotland is that the liberal parties of Europe face electoral meltdown. A recent report from the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) warned of a “sharp right turn” following EU elections in June:

Inside the European Parliament, a populist right coalition of Christian democrats, conservatives, and radical right MEPs could emerge with a majority for the first time.

The future spells doom for the doomsayers, it seems, with the globalist agenda under severe threat. The existence of the globalist EU itself may be threatened, with Unherd saying in December that this decade may be the EU’s last.

The ECFR report continued:

This ‘sharp right turn’ is likely to have significant consequences for European-level policies, which will affect the foreign policy choices that the EU can make, particularly on environmental issues, where the new majority is likely to oppose ambitious EU action to tackle climate change.

The attempt of the SNP to avoid electoral oblivion has only made it fall faster. It is an example which will be nervously observed from the once-dominant power in Europe.

Germany next?

The SNP’s partnership in power with the “green” zealots mirrors that of the government of Europe’s former economic and industrial powerhouse, Germany.

The crisis-hit Scholz administration relies on the support of a Green party whose policies have not only devastated the economy with deindustrializationlockdown debt, and soaring energy prices, but have also, as in Scotland, advanced a raft of extremist “progressive” issues, such as the promotion of the “trans” movement, opposition to border and immigration control, with both Green parties pursuing policies strongly resented by the public.

Scotland’s Greens sought to ban wood-burning stoves, and Germany’s Greens were met with similar outrage with their decision to ban gas-fired central heating, and mandate the use of heat pumps. Yet the money for the subsidies required has run out – as “green” policies have helped to destroy the economy.

The Greens succeeded in closing the last of Germany’s nuclear power stations in August 2023, but the policy of replacing home heating which works with an expensive alternative that does not, was met with widespread opposition.

As a result, it is not just heat pump sales that have plummeted in Germany, but the sales pitch of the international “green” lobby.

Faced with defeat in the European elections, which the ECFR blames on “national parties start[ing] to respond to the changing opinions of their voters,” many parties of the liberal establishment are rowing back on Net Zero commitments – as well as on other issues beloved of the shock-haired shock troops of Satanic “progress.”

The causes he supports are an object lesson in how Net Zero is not the only crazy agenda aggressively pushed by the Greens, whose policy platform is increasingly seen as electorally toxic. He is a self-described member of the so-called “LGBTQ+ community,” identifying as “bisexual.”

Like many progressive fanatics, he strongly supports the futile and avoidable destruction of the population and nation of Ukraine.

Here he is in 2020, championing the prescription of hormones and surgery to sexualized children as “trans healthcare.”

Naturally, he repeatedly describes Christians with disdain, labelling the Christian Institute as a “hate group.” The institute “campaigns for “the furtherance and promotion of the Christian religion in the United Kingdom and elsewhere.”

As Britain’s Telegraph reported, explaining the background to the collapse of Yousaf’s SNP-Green coalition:

Harvie’s determination to indulge his permanently-angry purple-haired activists even at the expense of the Scottish Government’s credibility was probably the last straw for many senior SNP ministers, if not for Yousaf himself.

Harvie is a strong advocate of abortion. He and his party describe the reminder that the lives of unborn children have value as “misinformation and intimidation,” as they seek to afford “dignity and privacy” to women killing their children, “as they are at every other medical procedure.”

SPUC, the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children, pointed out that the measure to legally enforce “buffer zones” around abortion facilities was “opposed by 70 percent” of the Scottish public.

The Greens in Scotland, as in Germany, vehemently oppose any attempt to control mass migration – however weak and belated.

The Greens have also refused to alter their stance on the now discredited notion of “gender affirming care” for children.

Against scientific advice, the Greens prefer to support the views of the “trans community,” saying “lived experience” is a better guide to reality than the clinical evidence that prescribing hormones and surgery to confused children is wrong, and causes irreversible harm.

The U.K.’s Cass Review, published in mid-April, cited a lack of “evidence based guidelines,” noting that pro-transgender organizations such as WPATH had exerted considerable influence in the adoption of the Dutch Pathway – a template which resulted in rapid access to hormones and surgery including for children.

Cass said in her introduction, “Although some think the clinical approach should be based on a social justice model, the NHS works in an evidence-based way.”

The rejection of the fast track to “puberty blockers” mirrors a similar preference for evidence-based decisions in Western electorates.

The Godless, nation-wrecking policies of national suicide have produced enough evidence of the motives, methods, and monumental disaster of the globalist Green agenda. It is anti-natalist, pro-open borders, anti-family, and seeks to promote the sexual distortion of the lives of what few children we still have. In a final irony, is also destroying the economic prosperity on whose subsidies it relies for its own survival.

Happily, “green” politics is now understood as a campaign for electoral as well as national suicide. This realization has spelled the end of the appalling Scottish coalition government, and with the coming European elections the writing is on the wall for globalist “progressives” across the continent.

Humza Yousaf’s left/Green government was just the first Green-backed coalition which has ended in disaster. It will not be the last. For the reality based community, the best news is yet to come.
