On 6 August, Italian journalist David Murgia published the results of a confidential 2016 consultation within the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith concerning the alleged apparitions at Medjugorje on IlSegnoDiGiona.com. Two Thirds of the Congregation Said Medjugorje was NOT Supernatural According to Murgia, 33 participants were asked to provide written opinions, or 'vota', on the Medjugorje phenomenon. Murgia reports the following results (17 September 2016): 21 participants chose 'constat de non supernaturalitate' (not of supernatural origin). 9 participants chose 'constat de supernaturalitate' (supernatural origin). 3 chose 'non constat de supernaturalitate' (the supernatural character has not been established). Bishop Mark A. Eckman, 67, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, will bring an end to the traditional Latin Mass at St. Titus Church in Aliquippa after nearly 20-years. Bishop Eckman was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Pittsburgh in 2021. In June 2025, Leo XIV promoted him to Bishop of Pittsburgh. In a letter dated 7 August (see below), Monsignor Eckman announced that the final Mass to be held at St. Titus using the 1962 Missal is scheduled for 4 September. The remaining two traditional Latin Masses in Pittsburgh are offered by the Institute Christ the King in Brighton Heights and by the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X in the West End. Bishop Eckman said his predecessor, Bishop David A. Zubik, received Vatican permission in 2022 to continue the Mass at St. Titus. Sadly, most Catholics are now "Conciliar Catholics." And since Conciliarism is an ever-evolving religion its tenets are constantly being updated. But make no mistake, Conciliarism is Satanically driven and Satan's ultimate goal is to destroy the Catholic Church. Faithful Catholics know that will never happen, but the authentic Catholic Church will suffer greatly as Rome moves further away from the truth through Synodality. And while the role of the SSPX is still unclear to many, all should recognize that it is the only priestly organization celebrating the TLM that adheres exclusively to the authentic teachings that pre-dated Vatican II. The most revealing clue as to its legitimacy, however, is that the SSPX is the only priestly organization that the Conciliarists in Rome regularly attack and work to destroy. There are relatively few Catholics who assist at the SSPX Masses, but as Jesus told us, when He returns He expects to find very few who have not loss their faith.

When we hear the word choir, we often think about beautiful voices, harmonies, rehearsals, microphones and music. But at Mass, the choir is something more than a group of people who sing beautifully. The choir has a liturgical ministry. The Church describes the choir or schola cantorum as having its own proper function within the celebration: it carries out the musical parts entrusted to it and fosters the active participation of the faithful in singing. That second part is especially important. The choir is not there simply to sing to the congregation. It is there, in an important sense, to help the congregation sing with the Church. 1.
