Vatican Rejected Medjugorje - Francis "Approved" it Anyway
On 6 August, Italian journalist David Murgia published the results of a confidential 2016 consultation within the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith concerning the alleged apparitions at Medjugorje on IlSegnoDiGiona.com.
Two Thirds of the Congregation said Medjugorje was NOT Supernatural
According to Murgia, 33 participants were asked to provide written opinions, or 'vota', on the Medjugorje phenomenon.
Murgia reports the following results (17 September 2016):
21 participants chose 'constat de non supernaturalitate' (not of supernatural origin).
9 participants chose 'constat de supernaturalitate' (supernatural origin).
3 chose 'non constat de supernaturalitate' (the supernatural character has not been established).
This corresponds to approximately 63.6 per cent for 'not supernatural', while only nine voted in favour.

A little gossip and gum chewing so as to avoid having to deal with the much bigger problems within the Church (women and gay priests, same-sex marriage, Holy Communion for the divorced, bishop ordinations in China, the complete abolition of the traditional Mass, synodality, etc.)

Medjugorje: 21 out of 33 voices would have ruled out the supernatural origin of the apparitions before Rome's nihil obstat

Nothing sensational! The authenticity of the apparitions remained unresolved, yet what mattered were the many confessions and fervent prayers. That is why it is an important place of prayer!

pros ask for fasting bread and water wed and fri days and go to confession
and many come to the faith and many men found vocation to the Priesthood
cons: money machine scandals borderline simony
Bishop not on board
some bad spiritual directors and religious orders
pros: station of the cross on cross mountain , easy place to pray and go to confession
cons : universalism of religion , poem of man God book promoted

An apparition that fails to warn that Rome is rebelling against God is false.

The only apparition to have a "show on the road" and visionaries thinking the Holy Virgin would "drop baby Jesus", laugh with the apparition about some bishops getting what its coming to them if they don’t approve... There’s a list of things, signs and fruits that tells about how false the apparition is, but people prefer to go there and "see", some with faith some others for their kicks.
Apparitions ARE for the strength of the faith, as one thing all true Apparitions have in common is that it happens when faith is lacking by the laity and the clergy.

Do you have any idea of what you are talking about?

I do

When the DDF today condems something, you can be sure it comes from God....

Vatican CDF consultation in 2016 rejected Medjugorje as supernatural — yet Pope Francis later green-lit devotion anyway.

How can anyone give credence to Medjugore-- especially after fatso Berfolio (who told us Christ prayed the Our Father incorrectly) gave it his stench ridden approval?

Medjugorje': Satanic deception

K K

There used to be a rule not to judge any apperition definitively while it still (allegedly) goes on. That's why Vatican did not condemn it 45 years ago.
But nowadays, anything goes.
Medugorie is just distraction from Fatima, Akita etc.
Local bishops condemned all the Medugorie apparition bussiness long ago.

V.R.S.

1. Vatican usually do not decide on alleged apparitions. It is a job of local bishops (as in case of Fatima or Lourdes or other places).
2. The only reason Vatican took the matter of Medjugorje in its hands is the lobbying of Gospa fanatics and men of affairs after local bishops repeatedly rejected the supernatural character of the events.

frawley

If it was the obvious fraud that you claim, the Vatican would have condemned it 45 years ago. The devil does not lead people back to the Faith, Euchrist and Adoration.

@frawley If the apparitions in Medjugorje were false, it would have been a greater miracle then the apparitions itself. Try to manipulate six children for years and years and deceive millions of people - priests, bishop's and a pope (JPII) alike) - and if you succeed you are a greater miracle worker than God himself.

V.R.S.

Bishops of the site condemned it as fraud over 30 years ago.
And crazy Gospa cultists did not listen.

yuca2111

Medjugorje's only real thing today is the faith of the pilgrims, before Francis it was the same, a false apparition with tons of people with faith checking it out, if there was any, ANY real messenger amongst the children way back there, the many false visionaries drown such in a sea of deception, Medjugorje IS false and there's tons of evidence of it, but the pilgrims are REAL. Anything from Francis is just a beautiful lie which is hard to reject by the clueless, he said yes to Medjugorje but casted doubt on Lourdes, that's all you need to know.

petrus100452

@yuca2111 Francis had his political reasons not to condemn Medjugorje (probably because there are too many believers) but he actually did not believe in the apparitions. He said that Our Lady is not a postman who delivers daily a message on a fixed time... He ridiculed the Queen of Peace (like he ridiculed the whole Gospel).

petrus100452

So Francis did (probably unintentional) something good....

Talk about DOUBLE SPEAK and DIOBOLICAL DISORIENTATION.

Look at who the 33 are.
