Mirare Joannem, quantum potes: Christo proficit quod miraris Admire John as much as you can: your admiration glorifies Christ Saint Augustine, Sermon 391, In Natali Joannis Baptistae – On the Birth of John the Baptist V, Paragraph 1 Latin and English In June 1929, this article written by Dom Emmanuel Flicoteaux OSB appeared in La Vie Spirituelle I The Christmas of Winter and the Christmas of Summer During the first three centuries of its existence, the Church concentrated her attention on the very person of the Word made Flesh as it needed, above all else, to become gently and slowly aware of the infinite riches of light and grace contained in the holy humanity of Christ Jesus, in whom resides that fullness of Divine life whose superabundance flows into all the members of his Mystical Body. To adore Christ as the only Son of God, to recognise and invoke him as the source of all holiness, to follow and imitate him as the model of perfect life—this, one might say, was the sole concern …
Ukraine the most corrupt country in the world, can't seem to let go of nazism. And it's spreading throughout Ukraine. I had posted about a camp that the Ukraine nazi government has special training for very young children. Both boys and girls about nazism and their teachings of war and so on. It's on my page on gtv.
I think I've seen pictures in the past of Zelensky driving Hitler's beloved Roadster, which he purchased for quite a huge sum. Google tries to tell me this is fake news, but still I'm thinking - same Roadster, same demons.
The superiors of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X published today another Open Letter to Leo XIV and to the Cardinals. The letter is no call to action nor a negotiating proposal but rather another public reaffirmation of the Fraternity's long-standing position. Attached is a 28-page document (English below) with the Catholic faith. This document repeatedly affirms strong papal authority adding that the pope possesses "supreme, full, immediate, and universal jurisdiction". The letter. Most Holy Father, Most Reverend Eminences, On the eve of the Consistory at the end of this month, and just days before the episcopal consecrations scheduled for 1 July in Écône, it seems to us that the time has come for the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X to make a full profession of Catholic Faith, which we wish to place in the hands of Your Holiness and each one of the Cardinals. Today the Church suffers under the pressure of new forces, coming both from within and without, which push her in …More
Profession of Faith #50 upholds Mary as Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix: 50. "I profess that, thus united to her Divine Son, she merited by congruity in her Compassion what Christ merited by strict justice in His Passion; not as the principal cause of the Redemption, but as a subordinate associate, dependent upon and wholly relative to her Son, in one and the same act of the Redemption of our souls. It is in this sense that Catholic piety, supported by the traditional teaching of Popes and theologians, rightly calls her, by reason of this Compassion, ‘Co-redemptrix’, and consequently ‘Universal Mediatrix’"

http://greatcatholicmonarch.blogspot.com/2...ic-monarch.html from my blog: There is a mysterious and intriguing figure in Catholic eschatology known as the Great Monarch. He and the events of his life are mentioned in various books of Sacred Scripture, the private revelations of Saints and Mystics, and the speculations of a few Catholic authors. I have known about him for about eight years, yet it was not up until about three years ago that I became consumed with discovering more about him. As an introduction I would like to share a general list of things I have learned about him: * He will be born in Europe of a royal French and German blood line, shortly before the beginning of the first part of the Tribulation. * According to Providence his life will be enmeshed with the events of the first part of the Tribulation. * In his youth he will be forced into exile as a result of the …

[Saint HILDEGARD OF BINGEN ~ XI-XII Century AD; born: Bermersheim, Holy Roman Empire/died: Bingen am Rhein, Holy Roman Empire, aged 81; Abbess, Polymath, Writer, Composer, Mystic, Visionary, Philosopher, Medical Writer and Practitioner, Composer of Sacred Monophony, Virgin, Founder, Doctor of the Church] 3 .The tabernacle And I came to a tabernacle, the inside of which was made of the hardest steel. And entering in, I performed works of light where before I had done deeds of darkness. In this tabernacle, therefore, towards the north, I set up a pillar of unpolished iron on which I hung small fans of various feathers moving back and forth. I found manna, and I ate it. Towards the east I built a fortification of square stones, kindling a fire within. Here I drank myrrh-flavoured wine with grape-must. Towards the south I made a tower of square stones on which I hung red shields; in the windows I placed trumpets of ivory. And in the middle of the tower I poured out honey and prepared a …More
‘I have fought many wars against you in great hardship and pain. You tried to bring me to my death but were unable, for I was armed with the most powerful of weapons; I brandished sharp swords against you and defended myself vigorously. Depart, therefore, and leave me, for you can do nothing more against me!’
Miserere Mei Deus. www.senusfidelius.us The Latin text runs thus: 1. Miserere mei, Deus: secundum magnam misericordiam tuam. 2. Et secundum multitudinem miserationum tuarum, dele iniquitatem meam. 3. Amplius lava me ab iniquitate mea: et a peccato meo munda me. 4. Quoniam iniquitatem meam ego cognosco: et peccatum meum contra me est semper. 5. Tibi soli peccavi, et malum coram te feci: ut iustificeris in sermonibus tuis, et vincas cum iudicaris. 6. Ecce enim in inquitatibus conceptus sum: et in peccatis concepit me mater mea. 7. Ecce enim veritatem dilexisti: incerta et occulta sapientiae tuae manifestasti mihi. 8. Asperges me, Domine, hyssopo, et mundabor: lavabis me, et super nivem dealbabor. 9. Auditui meo dabis gaudium et laetitiam: et exsultabunt ossa humiliata. 10. Averte faciem tuam a peccatis meis: et omnes iniquitates meas dele. 11. Cor mundum crea in me, Deus: et spiritum rectum innova in visceribus meis. 12. Ne proiicias me a facie tua: et spiritum sanctum tuum ne auferas a me. …More

Here's a GREAT hour-long video I ran across this afternoon. I've seen the 1965 TV special before, but now that it was remastered and posted on the Frank Sinatra YouTube Channel, I thought I'd share it with others. Enjoy...Tom Frank Sinatra - A Man And His Music (1965) [Remastered HD] | Full Special youtube.com/watch?v=EiO5Ue14mvA _______________________ Broadcast on November 24, 1965, by NBC, the hour-long program was designed to commemorate Sinatra’s 50th birthday. The special featured Sinatra performing solo in a studio setting, accompanied by orchestras conducted by his longtime collaborators Nelson Riddle and Gordon Jenkins. Notably, this was Sinatra’s first television special filmed in color, marking a significant milestone in both his career and television history. Serving as a definitive career retrospective, the companion double album dominated the charts by peaking at #9 on the US Billboard 200, securing an RIAA Platinum certification with over 1 million copies sold, and …More
The Vatican has rejected – on paper only – a request from the German Bishops' Conference to permit lay people to preach during the Eucharist by means of an "indult." A June 17 letter, written by Cardinal Arthur Roche, Prefect of the Dicastery for Divine Worship, was published on Dbk.de. The German bishops' proposal sought permission to allow lay employees, in the usual exceptional circumstances, to deliver a "homiletic reflection" following the Gospel during the Eucharist. In his reply, Cardinal Roche claims with canon law that the homily is an integral part of the liturgy [only since Pius X] and is reserved to a priest or deacon. He stresses that the reservation of the homily to clergy is not merely a disciplinary norm and does not depend on theological competence or communication skills. Cardinal Roche disputes the claim that current pastoral circumstances require an exception. Where a priest is present to celebrate the Eucharist, he is also present to preach. Where no priest is …More
People want proof all the time about Putin. I and others have left plenty of it. But it seems some still don't get it. So I thought I would let you hear what I see and know be told by Former Austria's Former Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl confirm what I say is true. That I am not the only one who knows President Putin well. She moved to Russia to Saint Petersburg and attends important speeches and dinners and celebrations with President Putin. So she knows him very well. @Jeffrey Ade More proof? Or just one more thing to demand and ignore? I invite you once again to hear with your own ears who President Putin truly is. If you refuse. Don't demand proof again. I am leaving three videos. First is Mrs Kneissl in an interview with of all people the BBC. When you hear her describe Putin whom she knows well, no one will be able to comprehend it. So much propaganda destroys the brain. I truly believe it. The government turned on her. But what I see, the people loved her and still do and even …More
Putin loses again. Always the gentleman trying to allow Pope Francis through the doors first. But as usual he loses. But watch how he waits for the Pope to sit down before he does. Ever the great gentleman that he is. Always showing great respect to others. And such humility is seen with his actions. This you will see in the second video.
" Former Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl confirm what I say is true... She moved to Russia to Saint Petersburg and attends important speeches and dinners and celebrations with President Putin" --- Yep. Paputchiks, next to matryoshkas, are probably most famous and most worldwide Russian products. "So much propaganda destroys the brain." --- True indeed. So, please do not damage our brains making this (allegedly Catholic) forum another version of the infamous "npabga"
Never Doubt God's Hidden Purpose Zechariah and Elizabeth’s story teaches us that God’s plans may not align with our expectations, but He has greater purposes in mind. Jeremiah’s story reminds us that God calls us from the womb and equips us for His purposes, even if we feel unworthy or incapable. We are all called to be saints, to love God, and to be a light in the world, and God’s grace will enable us to fulfill His will. Fr.
