"Mary sits at the right hand of Jesus like a Queen. [The answer to the sons of Zebedee and their mother's question to Jesus]. She is the most safe refuge and the most fruitful helper of all who are in danger, so there is no reason to fear." St. Pius X
Religious Sisters Suppressed After Vatican Intervention for “Being Too Traditional”: Conservative Bishop Earl K. Fernandes of Columbus has suppressed the Children of Mary, a traditional community of religious sisters (canonically, a public association of the faithful) based in Newark, Ohio. In his August 10 letter, Fernandes cites fairly general problems with formation and communal life, as well as concerns about the proper separation of the internal and external forum. He says that Rome’s Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life informed him that the community would never be approved as an institute of diocesan right. But there’s another side: Anthony Stine, citing an anonymous source close to the community, claims that the underlying issue was that the sisters’ formation and catechesis were regarded as too traditional.

Andy @andreas_nigbur THE LIBRARIES THEY BURNED. You've been taught that the Library of Alexandria was the greatest loss of knowledge in human history. A library. A fire. A tragedy. You've never been told about the OTHER libraries. Between 1850 and 1910, over 600 major libraries, archives, and government buildings worldwide were destroyed by fire. Not by chance. Not by war. But by FIRE. The pattern is unmistakable: 1851 – Library of Congress, Washington, D.C. Burned down. 35,000 volumes destroyed. 1871– The Great Chicago Fire. All of the city's public records, land registry documents, and historical records – destroyed. 1871 – In the same week as Chicago: Peshtigo, Wisconsin. The most devastating fire in American history. All records destroyed. 1872– The Great Boston Fire. Financial district and archives – destroyed. 1873– Portland, Oregon. City center and all municipal records – destroyed. 1891 – University of Toronto Library. 33,000 volumes – destroyed. 1904 – The Great Baltimore Fire …Mai
After a Scholar’s Awful Death, Mistaken Calls for Censorship - A Rush to Pin a Sad Death on the Media Aug. 17, 2026 nytimes.com/…pinion/jason-arday-cambridge-plagiar… By Michelle Goldberg Opinion Columnist Last year, Jack Grove, a reporter for Times Higher Education, a British magazine, was preparing an article about plagiarism allegations against the star academic Jason Arday. It would have been a big story because Arday, who in 2023 became Cambridge’s youngest-ever Black professor, was a minor celebrity, thanks in part to his seemingly extraordinary biography. Among other things, Arday said that he’d gotten his Ph.D. despite severe autism that left him nonverbal until he was 11 and unable to read until he was 18. He’d claimed to have run 600 miles in six days, which would have made him one of the world’s most accomplished ultramarathoners. Grove sent Arday three emails with questions about both his work and his history. Arday responded by hiring one of Britain’s leading defamation …Mai

I feel compelled to share this image of the horrific treatment Palestinians receive at the hands of the Israelis. Their impunity is repugnant. This monstrosity must be stopped. Ben-Gvir is building gallows with viewing booths … We now know that the UN's sole function is to ensure that the State of Israel continues to murder and colonize the entire world with absolute impunity, and to promote wars for the benefit of large, stateless corporations.
Unlike false prophet Bergoglio, false prophet Prevost kneels in front of the altar. Slight (but important) changes in the style of seduction (he is much more sophisticated)

Slovak pro-LGBT Catholic priest Adam Štefanec, 29, of the Diocese of Žilina said in an August 12 video that he does not like the word “God.” Rev. Štefanec believes that the term had accumulated so many associations that it no longer speaks to people today. “I try to find words that are universal,” he said, naming “humanity” as a universal value. Asked what Christ wants from people, Rev. Štefanec said the answer is “different for everyone,” different in every age, and “constantly changing.” Previously, Rev. Štefanec has supported homosex civil partnerships and said that homosexuality is not a sin.

With the stature of a major papal encyclical comprising 154 articles, the Society of Saint Pius X professes the Catholic faith for our times. It addresses the following topics: objective truth, modern biblical exegesis, the theory of evolution, the Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix of all graces, false religions, the significance of the Papacy, sexual morality, the Social Kingship of Christ, liturgy, the Last Things. This “Catholic Profession of Faith of the Society of Saint Pius X to Enlighten Souls in the Face of Modern Errors” is available online: Profession of Catholic Faith of the Society of … Prior to the episcopal consecrations at Écône, this profession of faith had been submitted to the Holy Father in Rome, Pope Leo XIV, so that he might thereby discern the orthodoxy of the FSSPX. Upon reading it, however, he could hardly have failed to notice that his own words, teachings, and actions frequently do not align with what this profession sets forth as Catholic. One would wish for this …Mai
HustleBitch @HustleBitch_ THE GREATEST LAND GRAB IN AMERICAN HISTORY IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW — AND PEOPLE ARE PANICKING RFK Jr. argues America is in the middle of the biggest transfer of residential real estate in modern history. In Texas, there are reportedly more than 200,000 homes currently listed for sale, with some estimates putting the number closer to 300,000. At the same time, foreclosures are accelerating and tens of thousands of households are reportedly more than six months behind on their mortgage payments. Then there's property taxes. Across the country, homeowners, especially seniors, are struggling to keep up with soaring tax bills. Some families have reportedly lost homes over unpaid property taxes after investors stepped in to purchase tax liens. Meanwhile, younger Americans are finding it harder than ever to buy their first home. According to RFK Jr., while families are being priced out, Wall Street firms such as BlackRock and other institutional investors are gaining …Mai
Video makes no sense: first they say they flipped the switch, tons of homes for sale (price drops), then they say big funds are buying out all homes (price increases). Why would Blackrock buyout everything just to dump the value of the own portfolio?
Dear Son, A good woman can multiply what you bring into a relationship; the wrong partner can slowly drain it away. Son, there’s something I want you to understand before you choose the person you’ll build your life with: relationships magnify what already exists between two people. Love can grow. Peace can deepen. Dreams can become shared goals. But resentment, selfishness, and disrespect can grow just as quickly. That’s why character matters far more than appearance, charm, or first impressions. 1. A good woman multiplies your effort You give her a house, and together you make it feel like home. You bring groceries through the door, and somehow an ordinary dinner becomes a place where people laugh, talk, and reconnect. You share a dream with her, and instead of dismissing it, she helps you turn it into something real. The right woman doesn’t simply take from what you build. She contributes her own strength, ideas, work, and love. But with the wrong person, the same opportunities can …Mai
